We’re back with the ultimate summer wedding inspo for all you lovers that have gotten engaged over the New Year!
This dreamy set up is brought to us by our talented FQ fam, Tamara and Beau, of Toowoomba White Weddings in collaboration with the team at Gabbinbar Homestead – the magical historic wedding venue set on 13 acres of delicious manicured gardens in Toowoomba, QLD.
Picture yourself on a summer afternoon, your nearest and dearest all around you, an open sky, festoon lights, champagne and a stunning tablescape to wow your guests. We chatted to Tamara to find out the inspiration behind their set up at this stunning venue.
“The concept was all about capturing the essence of summer – an outdoor celebration filled with warmth, charm and the perfect mix of elegance and ease. To bring this to life, Beau crafted and designed 5 completely unique concepts for Anje and Rachel from Gabbinbar to choose from, each tailored to highlight the versatility of the space. The final design was selected to truly embody the atmosphere they wanted to showcase and entice couples to host their own celebrations in this gorgeous setting.
We reimagined the classic all white palette with a fresh, modern twist. We envisioned a lush tablescape of enmass white blooms – clusters of hydrangea, dahlias, roses, and delphinium-to create a sense of abundant elegance. To add a unique touch, we wanted to introduce structural accents of citrus. A playful nod to summer that infuses the setting with vibrant colour and personality. With this combination, we aimed to create a tablescape that would be visually striking and delightfully unique, capturing both the refinement of an all white palette and the bright joyful spirit of summer.
We loved seeing how our designs transformed the outdoor space into something truly magical. The setting is already beautiful, but the florals elevated it to a whole new level. We especially loved creating the sculptural fruits – this was a completely unique concept something we haven’t seen done before and we loved how it added an unexpected and playful element to the space. Designing these pieces was a creative challenge but the end result was so rewarding. They brought a vibrant summery feel that perfectly complemented the outdoor setting and tied beautifully into the overall concept. 
We’re so thrilled with what we were able to create. Its always exciting to push boundaries within a brief, and we feel the final result captured the vision beautifully while showcasing the potential of this stunning space”.
