We’re Hiring! | Freelance Florist & Florist Assistant – Mother’s Day Week (Between 6–11 May)
Location: Mount Waverley, VIC
Florist Corner is a boutique florist studio based in Mount Waverley, and we’re looking for two freelance team members to join us during the busy and beautiful Mother’s Day week (6–11 May).
Whether you’re a skilled florist or a confident assistant who loves being surrounded by flowers, we’d love to hear from you!
Positions Available:
• Freelance Florist with a minimum m 2 years of floristry experience
• Florist Assistant
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in floristry or retail customer service (formal training is a plus, but not essential for the assistant role)
• A reliable, punctual and hands-on team player who isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed
• Friendly and professional with a positive, can-do attitude that shows initiative.
• A creative eye and a genuine love for floral design and presentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
Additional Info:
• Casual/freelance roles based on experience
• Ideal for freelancers, students or retail assistants looking for seasonal work
• Our studio is located in Mount Waverley, so access to transport or being local is a bonus
